More Fun!!!

Sorry we don't take time to get on the blog as often this year, we just don't seem to have the time!! Time is really growing short, as we leave here the end of Aug. We are trying to make as much of our time here as we can. We have taken a couple of more great hikes. Went to the top or 'My Mountain" again, Doug went with me this year. He is doing really well with the hiking and we are both enjoying it. We do prefer to blaze our own trail rather than a designated trail, it is just much more challenging.

One exciting thing that happened - we had a herd of buffalo walking through our campground. I was getting dressed and heard a strange sound, I thought it was Doug moaning!!! He called and said I should see what was outside. The RV was surrounded

I have a hard time not taking pictures of the buffalo, they just fascinate me.





These were the buffalo surrounding our RV - tried to get pictures that showed how close they were. The cat was really fascinated by them!!!



These were the first and only baby prong horns we have seen. We thought they were so cute, a pair of twins.





These were some pictures from the top of 'My Mountain'. The views are amazing and there is no trail up, which made it more exciting.





This was the trail we hiked this morning. We didn't have much time so we went on one of the designated trail. It was a very nice WALK, not a hike. Had beautiful rock formations and we had to ford the creek up to our knees a few times. We have already scoped out where we want to go off trail the next time!!!
