We just love this area. The scenery is almost as great as Alaska. We went for a long ride yesterday to Cripple Creek (Doug thought that was appropriate considering my condition!). This area was loaded with small towns and gold mines in the 1800's. I am only sick that I can't do the hikeing, there are all kinds of rocks and minerals around here. We were told about a place further north that is easy walking and has great 'stuff'. We will try that later in the week. I am sorry we did not know this area when Chip was here, he would have loved it. We took 153 pictures yesterday!!! Will give you just a gimps of them!!!
