The three of us on our way out to Alcatraz. Unfortunately Doug was not feeling well so didn't go through the facility. He had been there before so sat and enjoyed watching boats on the water. It was rather foggy, so didn't get any great pictures of the skyline.
Later Ana and I went to find a shopping area that was recommended. We should never be left alone together in a city!!! We checked the map, asked two people to be sure we made the transfer on the cable car and went in the right direction!!! We still went in the WRONG direction!! (She just got to see more of the city!) We finally got there and boy did she fined the 'mother load'!!! It was just like being in NYC!!! We didn't have much time there so I promised to take her back for a whole day before we leave!! I don't know how I am going to deal with it - the music in Hollisters just about made me deaf!!! The sacrafices we make for our grandchildren!!!
Tomorrow we leave about 5am for Monteray and whale watching!!!
