The Last of Las Vegas

September 18 & 19, 2007

This is our last night in Las Vegas. I have really enjoyed it. Spent the last two days doing the rounds of the casinos. They continue to amaze us. Today I saw a group of girls that had gone on an ‘all girls trip’, they were having a ball and it made me think about having a group of gals take a few days together – this is a really fun city. What about it girls?!?!?!?!

Weather is cooling down and is actually very comfortable, temp is 89 and humidity is 7%. Went to the top of the Stratosphere today and loved the view. It is 1000 feet high and really shows just how flat this valley is. The building going on around here is really incredible. There is such development it makes you wonder where all the electricity and water are going to come from. We saw a sign on a build on the strip that said it was approved for 951 condos!!!! That is only one piece of property 2.05 acres!!!!

The big news here is about OJ!!! We are staying about two blocks from where he pulled his lates 'stunt', and about one block from where the court is. That is all there is on the news around here!! Hope nothing important is happening in the rest of the world!

We leave tomorrow and head southeast, don’t know where we will stop tomorrow, have not made reservations, thought we would just stop when we felt like it. We are both feeling rather tired!!! By-the-way, Doug wanted me to mention that he has felt a lot better since the last stone passed. Still gets tired, but is much better.
